==Care==
Leopard Geckos are among the easiest reptiles to care for, owing to their hardy nature and simple dietary and environmental needs.

===Enclosure===
A 20"x10"x12" (50x25x30cm) tank is the minimum size recommended for one adult Leopard Gecko. Larger enclosures are required for multiple geckos, with ample space to prevent territorial aggression. The enclosure should have a secure lid, as Leopard Geckos can climb given the right surfaces .

===Features===
Include hiding spots, such as caves or shelters, on both the warm and cool sides of the enclosure. A moist hide filled with moss or vermiculite can aid in shedding. Decorations should allow for climbing and exploration but ensure they are stable to prevent injuries .

===Substrate===
Ideal substrates will include a mixture consisting of 70% organic, additive-free topsoil and 30% calcium-free, silica-free sand. Sand should be washed prior to use to remove dust that can damage the eyes of the gecko.

===Lighting===
Leopard Geckos do not require UVB lighting if their diet is supplemented correctly with Vitamin D3. However, providing a low-level UVB light is proven to benefit their overall health and well-being and is therefore strongly recommended.

===Temperature===
Create a temperature gradient with a warm side of 88-92°F (31-33°C) and a cool side of 75-80°F (24-27°C). Use a basking bulb regulated by a thermostat to maintain these temperatures.

===Humidity===
Maintain humidity levels between 20-40%, with a slightly higher humidity in the moist hide to facilitate shedding. Use a digital hygrometer to monitor humidity levels.

===Feeding===
Feed a varied diet of live insects, such as mealworms, crickets, and dubia roaches. Young geckos should be fed daily, while adults can be fed every other day. Ensure prey is appropriately sized, no larger than the space between the gecko's eyes.

===Supplementation===
Dust food with calcium powder supplemented with Vitamin D3 at every feeding for juveniles, and 2-3 times a week for adults. Alternate with multivitamin supplement.
